The venue
Café de los Angelitos sits at Av. Rivadavia 2100, on the corner of Rincón, in the Balvanera neighbourhood — a working residential and commercial district rather than a tourist strip, about two blocks from the Argentine Congress building (the Palacio del Congreso).
Getting there
Both ticket packages include hotel pickup around 19:30. Travelling independently, Balvanera is reachable by taxi or rideshare from most central Buenos Aires hotels in well under 20 minutes, and the Congreso subte station on Line A sits a short walk from the café's door.
Arrival timing
Dinner is seated from 20:00 and the show itself runs 21:45 to about 23:00 — roughly three and a half hours door to door once pickup is included. Because the whole room dines and watches on the same fixed schedule, arriving inside the pickup or seating window matters more than at a venue with staggered entry.
What to wear
There's no enforced dress code — smart casual is the stated norm — though the restored belle-époque room, with its stained glass and marble, is elegant enough that a fair number of guests dress up for the occasion rather than arriving in daywear.
Combining it with a day in Buenos Aires
Because Balvanera sits close to the Congreso and within reach of the wider centre, the evening slots naturally onto the end of a day spent around Plaza de Mayo, the Obelisco or San Telmo, without needing a special trip out to a separate district like Puerto Madero.
Booking ahead
The show runs nightly, but with a single seating and a fixed-capacity theatre, booking a specific date ahead of arrival — rather than turning up hoping for a table — is how most visitors actually get in.
